The MKE 600 is a condenser shotgun microphone. It is perfectly suited for use with a camera and will perform well in demanding filmmaking situations. This microphone has very low sensitivity to ambient noise thanks to its high directivity. A low-cut filter can also be activated to suppress wind noise. The condenser can be powered by 48V phantom power or a 1.5V AA battery. However, please note that using a battery may affect certain characteristics of the microphone.
